Tradetron MTM Tracker & Intraday Charts

A Tradetron MTM tracker shows how reported profit and loss changes during a trading session. AlgoEdge combines intraday charts and strategy monitoring so you can review the path of a session alongside its closing report.

What does MTM mean here?

MTM means mark to market: the value reported for positions as market prices change. An intraday P&L chart plots observed values over time. It helps you see the session path; a single closing number does not show all earlier fluctuations.

Read the chart with its timestamp

Check the date and the most recent update before interpreting a chart. Data depends on source availability and the reporting cadence. A gap or stale observation is not evidence that a position stayed unchanged. Compare the chart with the strategy details when values look unexpected.

Compare live and historical views

Use Live Monitor for current strategy status and Performance for historical results. Intraday charts are available on supported plans. The chart and a final EOD report may describe different observation times, so compare like-for-like sessions and timestamps.

Use monitoring as part of your checks

Review unusual moves in your Tradetron and broker account. AlgoEdge charts are reporting tools and do not automatically enforce a stop loss or close positions. Do not infer that a chart or alert guarantees execution.

Frequently asked questions

Is an intraday chart the same as an EOD report?

No. The chart shows observed changes through a session; the EOD report summarises that session after its reporting cycle.

Can an MTM tracker prevent losses?

No. Monitoring can help you notice changes, but it does not remove trading risk or guarantee that an order executes.
